Before & After

Just wanted to share a quick and simple creative tip.

1. Take a photo with your phone while out and about.

2. Edit on Snapseed to your liking.

3. Make a handmade notecard and write out a thank you note to someone who needs to hear from you. On the back of the card, write a short description and sign it.

“A handwritten note is like dining by candlelight instead of flicking on the lights, like making a gift instead of ordering a product, like taking a walk instead of driving. Handwritten notes will add a lot to your life.  You can still use the telephone or the web for the daily chores of staying in touch, but for the words that matter, it’s courteous, classy, caring, and civilized to pick up a pen.” Margaret Shepherd (The Art of the Handwritten Note)

Until next time, be well, sleep well, love well, and create something every day! ~Maria

  1. Absolutely love this. The Kokeopelli I drew last year we printed onto cards and even framed it as a gift to my dad. Did the same with my “window” picture we took when we did the Walk About Ripple earlier this year as a Mother’s Day gift for Kathy.

The technology is available and easy to use. We just have to take the time to do something with it. That little investment in time and creativity can bring a lifetime of smiles to you or someone you love.

    Ripple On!!!

  2. Thank you for sharing that Steve. A lot of great photos were captured during our walk about and mostly, I love how they were taken a step further as cards, gifts, etc.
