The Art of the Handwritten Note

I really like sending a handwritten note! And I prefer to make my own by using my travel photos on a blank notecard. My daughter had a great idea to make it even more personal. She suggested I write a line or two on the back telling my personal experience about the place; kind of like a journal entry. Love it!

I also wanted to share this quote with you because it is just so classy!

“A handwritten note is like dining by candlelight instead of flicking on the lights, like making a gift instead of ordering a product, like taking a walk instead of driving. Handwritten notes will add a lot to your life.  You can still use the telephone or the web for the daily chores of staying in touch, but for the words that matter, it’s courteous, classy, caring, and civilized to pick up a pen.”  Margaret Shepherd (The Art of the Handwritten Note)

Who’s on your mind? Make a card and send a handwritten note. Make someone’s day special!

Be well, sleep well, love well, and be inspired to create something every day! -Maria
