Start 2011 With a Creative Spark

It’s always a good time to hit the refresh button on life! I find that when I’m feeling a little blue or blah, I can get into my art or simply piddle around with some art supplies and paper to get me out of it. I’m starting the new year with three of my workshops scheduled here in Austin and would love to have you attend one of them.

If you are not an artist type….PERFECT! I’d like to show you how to begin a creative journey that will be yours to enjoy for life. Come enjoy some hands on activities and learn some ways to nurture your creativity on a daily basis. This is one of my favorite quotes to encourage you: “Why should we all use our creative power…? Because there is nothing that makes people so generous, joyful, lively, bold and compassionate, so indifferent to fighting and the accumulation of objects and money.” Brenda Ueland

“There is something necessary and life giving about creative work (a state of excitement). It is like a faucet – nothing comes unless you turn it on, and the more you turn it on, the more it comes.” – Brenda Ueland
